136_3620.JPG Everything we have cars or trucks for, they have boats for in Venice.  This is a police boat.  We saw an ambulance boat, too, with its siren on, going wicked fast.  Water splashed up and got people's feet wet!

136_3649.JPG These are gondolas.  They don't have motors, they are paddled by a person standing up.

137_3765.JPG The main square in the center of Venice had lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of pigenos.  People screamed when pigenons swarmed over them while they were eating their lunch!

137_3780.JPG This island is famous all around the world for its glass blowing.  Here we are in front of the glass blowing shop.

137_3779.JPG This is a picture on a wall of what goes on inside the glass blowing shop.  We went inside and we saw people take this liquid glass, like silly putty, out of a fire, put it on a stick, blow air into it to make it hollow, and swing it so it stretches out into a long lamp post.  Then a person came over with a stick that had more liquid glass and it made all sorts of colors.  We saw him cut it with scissors and the sticky liquid glass didn't stick to the scissors!
